Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This policy explains how Harper Malone Limited, trading as Adored Again, collects, uses, stores and shares personal information through the Adored Again marketplace. We handle personal information in accordance with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.
Who to contact
Our privacy contact is available at hello@adoredagain.co.nz. You can use this address to ask a privacy question, request access to or correction of your information, or make a privacy complaint.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the marketplace, we may collect:
- seller name, email address, phone number and general location;
- listing and dress information, uploaded photographs and the seller's declared private or in-trade status;
- buyer enquiry name, email address, optional phone number and message;
- listing-fee payment status and Stripe transaction identifiers, but not full card details;
- records showing which version of the Terms was accepted and when required confirmations were made; and
- technical data reasonably generated by hosting and security systems, such as IP-derived rate-limit records, request times, browser information and server error information.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to:
- create, review, publish and promote dress listings;
- collect the seller listing fee;
- automatically forward an initial buyer enquiry to the relevant seller;
- provide support and respond to reports of platform misuse;
- secure, maintain and improve the marketplace; and
- meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not use enquiry or listing information for unrelated marketing unless we have the appropriate consent and provide a lawful way to unsubscribe.
Who receives information
The seller associated with a listing receives the buyer information submitted through that listing's enquiry form. Seller email addresses, phone numbers and home addresses are not displayed publicly unless a seller separately and expressly agrees.
Payment, hosting, email, analytics and security providers receive only the information reasonably required to provide their services. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, Police or other authorities where required or permitted by law.
Stripe payments
Stripe processes the seller listing-fee payment. Adored Again receives payment status and transaction identifiers, but does not receive or store the seller's full card number. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and technical information
The marketplace uses an essential session cookie to protect seller and buyer forms against unauthorised submissions. The current marketplace code does not set advertising cookies. Hosting, security or linked third-party services may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect their services. If analytics or additional tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated first.
Storage, security and overseas processing
Listing records, uploads and enquiries are stored in access-controlled private storage rather than the public website directory. We use measures such as restricted access, server-side validation, private file delivery, signed payment webhooks, CSRF protection and rate limiting. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Some providers, including payment, hosting or email providers, may store or process information outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and safeguards appropriate to the information and service.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including operating the listing, responding to enquiries or complaints, preventing fraud, and meeting tax, accounting or legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it. The exact period may vary depending on the record and any unresolved issue.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting the privacy contact above. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. We will respond as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
Privacy complaints
Please contact us first so we can review your concern. You may also contact the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our response.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the marketplace, our providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its publication date will remain available on this page.
